Terms of Service
Last updated 1 November 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Shivam Chauhan, an individual based in India who operates linkks ("linkks", "we", "us"). They apply to the website at linkks.io, the pages published through it, and the dashboard (together, "the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. What linkks is
linkks lets you build a single web page that gathers your links, shop, videos, bookings, social profiles and similar blocks behind one address, such as linkks.io/your-name, and shows you analytics about what visitors tap. Some features are free; others require a paid plan.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
- You can sign in with Google or with an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for everything done through your account.
- One person, one account, unless your plan includes extra seats. Don't share accounts.
- Handles (the part after linkks.io/) are given on a first come, first served basis. We may reclaim a handle that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark, or belongs to an account that has been deleted.
3. Your content
You own what you put on your page: text, links, images, and the email addresses visitors give you through your signup block. By publishing a page you give us permission to store, display and deliver that content to visitors, and to make the technical copies needed to run the Service. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups that expire on their own schedule.
You are responsible for your content and for where your links lead. You confirm you have the rights to everything you publish.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use linkks to:
- Break the law, or link to anything illegal where you or your visitors are.
- Publish or link to sexual content, content that sexualises minors, or content that promotes violence or hatred against a person or group.
- Sell or promote weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, gambling, or anything else prohibited by our payment partner's rules.
- Impersonate a person, brand or organisation, or use a handle, name or avatar that would confuse people about who you are.
- Send spam, run phishing pages, distribute malware, or collect visitors' personal data without a clear consent line.
- Scrape the Service, probe its security, overload it, or access other people's accounts or data.
We may remove content, unpublish a page, or close an account that breaks these rules, with or without notice depending on how serious it is.
5. Plans, prices and payment
- The Free plan costs nothing and has no time limit.
- Paid plans (Starter, Pro and Scale) are sold as monthly or yearly subscriptions. Current prices are shown on linkks.io and on the Billing page of your dashboard. Prices are in US dollars.
- Payments are processed by Creem (Creem Inc.), which acts as the merchant of record. That means Creem is the legal seller on your receipt, charges and remits any applicable taxes such as VAT or GST, and handles your payment details. We never see your card number. Creem's own customer terms also apply to the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly, at the then-current price, until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from the Billing page. Cancelling stops future renewals. Your paid features stay active until the end of the period you have already paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan. Content that exceeds Free plan limits (for example extra pages or domains) stops being served but is not deleted straight away.
- If a renewal payment fails, we keep your paid features for up to 14 days while Creem retries the card. If payment still fails, your account moves to the Free plan.
- We may change prices. Any change applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you by email at least 14 days before it does. If you don't want the new price, cancel before the renewal.
6. No refunds
All payments are final. Once a payment for a monthly or yearly plan has been made, we do not issue refunds or credits, in full or in part, for any reason within our control. This includes, without limitation:
- Not using the Service, or using only part of it, during a billing period you paid for.
- Forgetting to cancel before a renewal. Renewal dates are shown on your Billing page, and cancelling is always available there.
- Cancelling partway through a monthly or yearly period. You keep access until the end of the period; the unused remainder is not refunded or prorated.
- Changing your mind, no longer needing the Service, or finding the features are not what you expected. The Free plan exists so you can try linkks before paying.
- Downgrading from a yearly plan to a monthly one, or from a higher plan to a lower one. The change takes effect at the next renewal.
- Your account being closed for breaking section 4.
The only exceptions are where a refund is required by law that applies to you and cannot be excluded, or where we were unable to provide the paid Service at all for an extended period because of a fault on our side. In the European Union and the United Kingdom, by starting a paid plan you request that the digital service begins immediately and you acknowledge that you lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once it has begun.
Because Creem is the merchant of record, Creem may, at its own discretion and under its own terms, issue a refund within 60 days of a purchase, for example to resolve a payment dispute. That is Creem's decision, not a right under these terms, and it does not change the policy above.
Disputing a charge with your bank rather than contacting us may lead to your account being closed.
7. Changes to the Service
linkks is a young product and will change. We may add, change or remove features, including features of paid plans, and may change plan limits. If a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Service running but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits, lost sales, lost data, or loss of followers or audience, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for all claims together is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or US if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Your page goes offline immediately. For 7 days you can sign in to restore it; after that, the account and everything under it are permanently removed, as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund of any payment already made.
We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering the Service. If we stop offering the Service entirely, we will give paying customers at least 30 days' notice and, in that case only, refund the unused part of any yearly plan.
11. Other terms
- These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
- If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. For material changes we will email account holders in advance.
- You may not transfer your account or these terms to someone else without our agreement.
